About the Event

Hello Edgewater Beach Neighbors,

We invite you to a meeting on the 48th Ward Office’s 2024 Participatory Budgeting projects on Thursday, September 26th. THIS MEETING IS IMPORTANT. Participatory Budgeting allows you, the taxpayer, to influence how public funds are allocated. It’s also an opportunity to envision and develop our neighborhood through projects that serve the community.

Our meeting will start at 6:00 PM with an introduction to Participatory Budgeting. A representative from the 48th Ward Office will then present this year’s project options. We will also make time for Q&A to the Ward Office. Finally, we will explain how you can cast your vote to help decide how our funds will be used.

Please join us at All Meal Prep (1100 West Bryn Mawr, corner of Bryn Mawr and Winthrop) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

For questions, please contact us at ebnachicago@gmail.com.

And stay updated on our neighborhood initiatives at www.ebnachicago.org, or follow us on Facebook and Meet Up.
