Hello Edgewater Beach Neighbors,
Â
The Edgewater Beach Neighborhood Association has been asked by the 48th Ward Office to help gather community feedback regarding a proposal to lift the existing liquor moratorium on the 1100 block of West Bryn Mawr Avenue. A local business developer has expressed interest in opening a bar/nightclub at 1118 W Bryn Mawr, which would require the moratorium to be lifted before a liquor license could be issued.
Â
To ensure residents have an opportunity to learn more about this business opportunity and share their perspectives, EBNA will host a public meeting with representatives from the prospective business, where we will hear about the business’s plan of operations.
Â
Date:Â Wednesday, November 5th, 2025
Time:Â 7:00pm
Location:Â All Meal Prep, 1100 West Bryn Mawr
Â
Your feedback will be collected and shared with the 48th Ward Office to inform their decision-making on the request to lift the liquor moratorium. All residents and local business owners are encouraged to attend and participate.
Â
If you cannot attend but would like to share your input, please email your comments to ebnachicago@gmail.com by November 5th.
Â
Thank you for helping us ensure transparent and inclusive community dialogue around development on Bryn Mawr Avenue. I hope to see you there 😊
